- This group is for mothers and fathers interested in attachment parenting theory, pro-attachment practices, and/or natural living, so that we may give each other advice and support for our non-mainstream parenting practices. Some aspects of attachment & natural parenting include babywearing (slings), extended breastfeeding, co-sleeping, gentle discipline techniques (no spanking), natural birth, water birth, non-circumcision, non- or selective vaccination, homeopathy, and organic/vegetarian diet. You don't have to embrace all these ideas: they are just some aspects of what may be discussed here, to give a general idea. Shaming other members is not allowed. If you disagree with another member's practices, politely offer them the information you'd like them to consider in an objective way.
